LaunchYou has allowed me to build a business around the things that matter most to me: my family and our lifestyle in retirement.
I took early retirement from a 35 year career in IT and feeling flush with a redundancy payment I took the whole family on holiday to celebrate my 30th wedding adversary and for the first year I generally had a great time enjoying my new found freedom.
The second year however was a very different story; reality kicked in when the stock market crashed, which made my pension look a little shaky and I found no matter how much I tried I could not fill all the time I had on my hands.
So, as you might expect, I thought, just go back to work! Wrong!
Fast forward a year, despite having a great CV and a ton of experience, I still had no job and I was feeling totally washed up, despairing of ever getting a job again.
That's when I started to look at what opportunities are out there for someone like me to make another income without having to flog my soul to another corporate employer.
Just scrolling through Youtube one day I came across Stuart Ross and the LaunchYou program, what struck me more than anything was the authenticity and integrity of the massage in that video. It inspired me to just go and find out more, which is what I would encourage you to do.
The LaunchYou program has not just given me a new set of skills to successfully launch and grow my own online business but it’s helped me get my head in the game and it continues to support me in the future.
MY MISSION
My mission is to inform and enlighten people approaching, or in retirement, of the realities of life in the world today and in doing so empower them to take action to secure their future and live the life they have always dreamed of. By educating and supporting people through their unique journey to financial freedom and fulfilment I myself will find the same fulfilment and security.
My goals:
- Educate and empower people to take control of their financial security – in doing so, cast off the outdated constraints of traditional work, pensions and investments that do not work in today’s world.
- Help people rediscover their passions in life and in doing so use those passions to drive then to success in their pursuit of their goals.
- Support people in eliminating doubt and indecision by guiding them along a well-trodden and proven path to success.
- Play an active and positive part in the supportive community that we have available for everyone on their path to success.
- Promote Integrity & Transparency in every aspect of our personal and professional lives - never making false or misleading promises, just providing a practical and proven path to creating lasting retirement security.
MY VISION
I envision a world that truly embraces the value of the experience gathered over many years from the struggles that life brings and rewards wisdom with respect and gratitude. I believe that age is just a number and it's an individual's spirt and drive defines them. Age brings insight and experience but does not restrict our ability to change and adapt or learn new skills, we should embrace change and continue to challenge ourselves every day.
I envisage:
- Future financial security for everyone that dares to take control of their future and has the vision to never give up.
- Continuous learning and entrepreneurship becomes the norm not the exception.
